The Agent runs beside your services—not on the Edgekeeper platform—so every workspace updates DNS from the public IP of its own server.
Deploy the lightweight Agent on each home server or network. It reads that location's public IPv4 and securely reports it to Edgekeeper.
Connect Cloudflare, Namecheap or GoDaddy with your own API credentials. Assign each domain or MongoDB Atlas project to the Agent at its server location.
Set a baseline IPv4 for each domain. Edgekeeper selects matching A records and preserves their TTL; Cloudflare proxy settings stay intact.
IP changes trigger a sync. Edgekeeper respects each provider’s API limits, verifies updates, records activity and advances the baseline. Paused resources and offline Agents are skipped.
MONGODB ATLAS IP ACCESS LIST AUTOMATION
When a home server's public IPv4 changes, Edgekeeper safely rotates the assigned MongoDB Atlas project's IP Access List from its configured baseline to the latest address reported by that server's Agent.

Yes. Connect a domain hosted on Namecheap or GoDaddy DNS, assign a Docker Agent and set its baseline IPv4. Edgekeeper updates matching A records when the Agent IP changes.
Cloudflare, Namecheap and GoDaddy share the DNS automation permission. Manual DNS record editing is a separate permission, and domain limits are per provider. Check Billing for your plan; provider API eligibility still applies.
No. Keep your domain registration where it is. Connect the provider that hosts its authoritative DNS. A domain registered with GoDaddy or Namecheap but using Cloudflare nameservers should use the Cloudflare integration.
IP changes trigger synchronization; routine verification defaults to 30 minutes with random staggering. Requests share a per-account budget across service instances, and API limits or outages trigger automatic backoff.
